For use in new plants or to increase the performance of existing flue gas cleaning systems, Lhoist has developed special, highly reactive adsorbents which can be successfully used in all dry sorption processes. In addition, the producer has the possibility to mix lime-based adsorbents with carbon-based additives or surface-rich mineral substances in order to realise a simultaneous separation of acidic air pollutants and ecotoxic trace elements.
